  Jeffery Gorham: Food Service Manager

As the kitchen manager, I like bringing joy to the people who are in need.  I started out as a shelter guest, joined the recovery program, became a staff person and now am kitchen manager.

Corinda Harrelson: Recovery Team

I have chosen to work for the Mission due to cut-backs at my former employment.  I truly feel this is where God wants me to be.  God has given me peace about this position with the Rescue Mission.  I firmly believe this will be a learning experience for me as well as being able to help others.  I will be allowed to let my light shine for God before men.

 Garry Harrelson: Men's Shelter

I like working at the Mission because I believe it is a purpose for me to be here so I can help other people by showing them how far I came from my addiction and letting them know you can do it with the Lord.

Charlotte Hawley:  Case Manager

My name is Charlotte Hawley.  I am the proud mother of two married children, Wayne and Julie.  I have always had the desire to contribute to the lives of hurting people.  I love the Lord with all my heart.  I feel the best gift we can offer is the knowledge of Christ.  I know my opportunity to work at the Rescue Mission is the call of ministry placed on my life by the Lord.  My passion is helping others find their way and purpose.

Mark Henry: Manager of Recovery Intake and Guest Records

I have always loved what the Mission does for the entire community.  I am fortunate to be apart of it.

David Hockenberry: Chaplain Team

I am a part of the Rescue Mission Chaplain Team.  This ministry consists of greeting and welcoming the churches who come in to lead the Hospitality Chapel at 7:45 PM., leading the service if for some reason the church that is scheduled can’t make it and to counsel and pray with any person that requests prayer. Visiting the men and women in the hospital is also part of  the Chaplain Team’s ministry.  I feel very called by God to this ministry because of my love of Christ Jesus and my love for the men that are homeless and in crisis.  I was once a guest in the Men’s Shelter and also became a graduate of the mission’s Recovery Program.  This mission and God saved my life and I want to help others experience the same love I was given.

Joan Hockenberry: Chaplain Team

I am a part of the Rescue Mission Chaplain Team.  This ministry consists of greeting and welcoming the churches who come in to lead the Hospitality Chapel at 7:45 PM. and pray and counsel with any person that requests prayer.  It is part of my ministry to do the scheduling of the churches and help with the service in any way I can and visit the hospitals when one of the shelter guests are ill and offer spiritual counsel.  I feel called to this ministry because of the love God put in my heart for people who find themselves in crisis situations and feel alone and unloved.  My ministry is to serve God by serving His people and helping them to know how worthy and loved they are in the eyes God.
